Steven E. DiCairano

Steve joined Mirick O’Connell in August 2021 as an associate in the Firm’s Litigation Group. He focuses his practice in the area of business and securities litigation and in representing clients in response to state and federal government investigations. Steve also represents clients in matters involving corporate governance and management disputes, shareholder disputes, derivative actions and claims of breach of fiduciary duty.  In addition, he assists in litigation of cases involving fraud, intentional interference with contractual relationships, breach-of-contract claims and cases involving unfair or deceptive trade practices.  Additionally, Steve represents municipalities, property owners, businesses and developers in connection with complex environmental, zoning and real estate disputes.

Steve is currently an adjunct professor at New England Law | Boston where he teaches legal writing and research courses and is also an Assistant Coach of the Suffolk Law National Moot Court Team.

Prior to joining the Firm, Steve was an associate at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in Boston, MA. Steve also previously served as a judicial clerk to Justice Andrew M. Mead of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court and to Chief U.S. Magistrate Judge David H. Hennessy of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
