Nancy E. Gunnard

As a member of the firm’s Life, Health, Disability and ERISA Litigation Group, Nancy focuses her practice on contract law, insurance law, and litigation of first party bad faith matters and insurance cases governed by ERISA. She works closely with clients to identify and mitigate regulatory, legal, and reputational risk.

Nancy also defends physicians, hospitals and health care providers in medical malpractice claims and business disputes.

Prior to joining the Firm, Nancy was Assistant Vice President and Senior Counsel at Unum US, the largest provider of group and individual disability insurance in the U.S. and a fast growing voluntary insurance business with over $6B in annual revenue.
