July 29, 2013 - Westborough, Massachusetts - Attorney Ted Bassett, chair of Mirick O'Connell's Personal Injury Group, recently authored the article, "Litigating Spinal Cord Injuries" which was published in The Lawyer's Log Book, a resource published for plaintiff lawyers which is endorsed by both the Association of Plaintiff Insterstate Trucking Lawyers of America ("APITLA") and The National Trial Lawyers. Ted is a member of APITLA's National Advisory Board. APITLA is a national association of committed lawyers who have joined together to help eliminate unsafe and illegal interstate trucking practices. Through our combined efforts in learning, litigation and legislation, we are working today to make America's highways a safer place tomorrow for our families, our clients, and all Americans.

"Litigating a spinal cord injury case can be extremely complex and challenging because your client has suffered a devastating injury with lifelong complications. However, these cases can be extremely rewarding. A successful resolution by settlement or jury verdict can provide your client and his dependent family members with a lifetime of financial secruity."
