Kirsten is a partner in Mirick O’Connell’s Family Law and Divorce Group.  She focuses her practice on all areas of family law including divorce, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, contempts, modifications, paternity, equity and custody actions.  Kirsten has over 15 years of experience in family law, from preparing cases from initiation to trial and appeal.  She has extensive and complex trial and motion practice, and has served as Special Master, Parent Coordinator, and Guardian ad Litem.  She also has trial experience before the U.S. District Court pursuant to the wrongful retention of a child under The Hague Convention.

Kirsten was included in the 2023 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® for Family Law, and Family Law Mediation.  Kirsten has also been named a Massachusetts Super Lawyers “Rising Star” by Boston magazine and Law & Politics.

Prior to joining Mirick O’Connell, Kirsten was a partner at Barach Law Group in Framingham, MA. She was previously associated with Brick & Sugarman, LLP, Todd & Weld, LLP and Ailsa DePrada Deitemeyer, P.C.
