Adam W. Jacobs
Adam is a partner in Mirick O’Connell’s Business Group. He has over 30 years’ experience providing general business and corporate counsel to a broad range of businesses, enterprises, executives, entrepreneurs, ventures and institutions in all phases of development. Adam handles a wide range of agreements and matters covering buying and selling businesses, divestitures, limited liability companies/joint ventures, equity investments, corporate governance, business succession planning, entity selection and formation, dissolutions, shareholder agreements, non-solicitation and non-competition agreements, consulting agreements, technology agreements, employment matters and severance, non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements, buy-sell and equity transfer restriction agreements, and vendor and supplier agreements.
He has closed hundreds of business transactions, including numerous mergers and acquisitions.
In addition, Adam advises family-owned businesses and closely-held businesses as they plan for growth and execute succession planning strategies.
Prior to joining Mirick O’Connell, Adam was an attorney with Wilchins, Cosentino & Novins LLP, and previously served as General Counsel to United Site Services, a private equity portfolio company with operations in over 30 states with over 3,700 employees. Prior to that, Adam was a senior partner with Riemer & Braunstein, LLP in Boston for 15 years.
