David McCay Appointed Chair-Elect of the Board of Directors for the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce

Westborough, Massachusetts - February 25, 2013 - Mirick O'Connell is please to announce that David K. McCay, a partner in the Firm's Litigation Group, was recently appointed Chairman-Elect of the Board of Directors for the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce. McCay joined the Board of Directors in 2012 and was appointed Vice Chair in 2011.

McCay specializes in resolution of complex real estate, environmental and business disputes. He represents developers, property owners, and commercial landlords and tenants in real estate, environmental, zoning and leasing disputes. He also represents businesses, business owners and employers in cases involving commercial contracts, business torts, shareholder disputes, the enforcement of non-competition agreements, and the defense of employment discrimination and sexual harassment claims. McCay appears regularly in the state and federal courts in Massachusetts and in arbitration proceedings before the American Arbitration Association and JAMS. He has been named a "Rising Star" by Boston magazine and Law & Politics every year since 2008. In 2005, he was selected by the Worcester Business Journal as one of "40 under Forty" professionals honored for their professional excellence and community service.

McCay is also active in the MetroWest community. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the 495/MetroWest Partnership, the Advisory Board for the MetroWest Economic Research Center at Framingham State University, and the Southborough Economic Development Team. He lives with his wife and son in Southborough.
