He has more than 20 years of experience counseling clients in worldwide patent procurement and enforcement strategies. He also represents clients in patent infringement proceedings in federal courts throughout the United States.
His practice focuses on representing companies with critical intellectual property requirements. He assists clients in developing strategies to procure patents in the United States and overseas. He writes and prosecutes patent applications throughout the world. He also counsels and assists clients in procuring trademarks and copyrights. Brian has experience positioning intellectual property assets for sale or license and negotiating and drafting intellectual property transfer agreements.
Brian is active in patent litigation matters, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in courts throughout the country. He also counsels clients in pre-litigation strategies aimed at bolstering intellectual property assets, and prospectively resolving potential disputes.
